Installation
The Available Service Pack tab
lists all the Service Packs available for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 from
Microsoft®. Before installing
Service Pack, define the location of the Service Pack source file by right-clicking on the
Service Pack item, and selecting Define Service Pack Source Location
menu
item. Select the location of the source file on your local machine or on a network
share. Make sure to select the correct source file for NT Service Packs (both
standard- and high-encryption versions of Service Pack self-extracting executable will be shown, if present at
the selected location). You can also send Administrative Alert to the selected
computers before installing Service Pack.
This customizable message will be displayed on remote machines within several seconds. To
install Service Pack, right-click on the Service Pack item, and select Install Service
Pack menu item. Alternatively, you can select Service Pack item and click on
Install button on the toolbar.
