Main
Features
Detection
-
The
NetQuery performs a query of selected networked computers,
domains, and entire networks for detecting installed OS or product
version and Service Pack level.
For every queried computer all the installed and missing hotfixes
are clearly identified. It is done in a way that clearly shows the
computer status against all available hotfixes issued by Microsoft®
for the corresponding combination of OS/Product version and its Service
Pack level.
-
The
Hotfix Profiler capability allows to test selected
networked machines, domains and entire networks against pre-defined and user-defined groups of Hotfixes (Hotfix
Profiles). For example: security, stability and Y2K profiles.
-
The
NetGroup feature allows system administrator to
create custom groups of networked computers, improving manageability of the deployment process.
Computer's IP address can be used instead of computer name, to
identify those computers that are not reachable via Microsoft® WINS
services.
-
The
results of the NetQuery can be provided in a report form in embedded
IE Web Browser and can be viewed, and printed. The by-product of the
report generation is the file that stores the report information in
.CSV format. The results can also be exported to .CSV file by
explicit user's operation.
