Installation Scheduler
Service Pack Manager allows
you to schedule hotfix installations on the remote computers. To schedule
hotfix installation:
- Select the target remote
machines you'd like to install the hotfix or multiple hotfixes on by
checking the machine checkboxes on the network tree.
- Select the desired hotfix or
multiple hotfixes in the bottom pane by checking the corresponding
checkboxes.
- Click on the Schedule
button on the toolbar; the Schedule Hotfix Installation
dialog will pop-up.
- Select the desired date and time
on date and time pickers on the dialog.
- Check the Enable Scheduling
checkbox and click OK button

- The icons of the corresponding
hotfixes will change as shown below. Only the downloaded hotfixes will
be scheduled. If you add another hotfix by checking its corresponding
checkbox, it will become scheduled for installation and its icon will
change accordingly. If you uncheck the scheduled hotfix, it will stop
being scheduled for installation and its icon will change accordingly
to
.
If you uncheck all scheduled hotfixes, it will cause the
scheduler to become disabled so the next time you wanted to
schedule hotfix installation, you'd have to invoke the schedule dialog
by clicking on the Schedule button on the toolbar and
enable the scheduling.
